Then let's surveil Larry himself for a starter. Doesn't seem like he was on his best behavior for his whole life

[–] bitjunkie@lemmy.world 4 points 2 hours ago

surveil

That's a funny way of spelling "string up"

There's a drone with his name on it.

The Kochs used to be the biggest cancer in our society, but the Ellison's have taken their spot

It blows my mind that like 30% of farmers in Arkansas went out of business last year and whats left will lose 40% this year... And they have all of that diesel and fertillizer just sitting there?

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 8 points 8 hours ago

funny thing its also not being reported on the news so trumpers are likely wont notice anythings wrong. same goes with tourist areas, alot of those places must be closing or lost all thier business.

Financial obesity is an existential threat to any society that tolerates it, and needs to cease being celebrated, rewarded, and positioned as an aspirational goal.

Corporations are the only ‘persons’ which should be subjected to capital punishment, but billionaires should be euthanised through taxation.

One Rich Asshole Called Larry Ellsion

[–] mycodesucks@lemmy.world 17 points 15 hours ago

"See, it's different from the Chinese social credit system. That one is based upon doing things that are good for society. This one is around doing things that are good for shareholders/capitalism. That makes this one okay."

To paraphrase the philosopher Carmela Soprano, “You know, Larryy, it’s a multiple-choice thing with you. ‘Cause I can’t tell if you’re old-fashioned, you’re paranoid, or just a fucking asshole.”

[–] end_stage_ligma@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

D. All of the above

[–] HertzDentalBar@lemmy.blahaj.zone 13 points 15 hours ago (3 children)

So basically if you're cozy with the system they will protect you and if they decide they don't like you anymore they just release the dirt.

And don't forget dirt includes things that are legal and consensual but might not look good like being poly or sexting.

The more these evil cunts keep pushing it the more I'm driven towards the ludite ways. AI can't stop fire, and it can't stop people from going to the homes of CEOs with said fire.

[–] end_stage_ligma@lemmy.world 2 points 3 hours ago

They can just use AI to fabricate dirt

Billionaires shouldn't exist

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 34 points 19 hours ago (4 children)

This guy wants to be everybody's boss of their lives. 30 years ago, I left a Fortune 100 company to start my own business because I was so fucking fed up with being told what to do by total.losers like this hump.

I haven't become a millionaire, but I wake up when I want, go to bed when I want, work when I want, fuck off when I want, and have total freedom. This dumb fuck doesn't get to tell ME what to do, just because he's got some money.

Remember when China was the villain for doing this? At least the owners aren't building out a huge network of surveillance centers under the guise of a miracle technology that has zero chance of living up to they hype.

Not just there. Thr UK and Canada if they keep Carney. Australia and New Zealand probably similar boats soon.

This is the man who just bought Paramount/CBS and Warner Bros for his son and fired Stephen Colbert.

If you care about this, you might want to consider whether to ever turn CBS on again.

Does that mean that when a group finds him and straps him to a guillotine we'll be able to get multi-angled high resolution video for prosperity?
