Let's just get rid of human rights enshrined in law and pass off the managing of the plebs privileges to the private sector.
United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.
There's no human right to travelling on a plane.
I dont trust airlines or stewardesses with that kind of power.
The point is, as another commenter pointed out, there is an avenue for abuse which would massively inconvience the vulnerable and those unfairly discriminated against, which is a human rights issue.
Counterpoint: Kens and Karens who don't want to be in a society can fucking walk.
Then you're on the no-fly list.
Why? Fuck you, that's why. Walk.
This will definitively not be misused at all.
This has the potential to become how the Chinese treat their citizens with travel bans. I'm all for it, but there must be controls and levels for a person to be added to this list.
What if some dickhead smokes in the toilets, and the airline staff get the wrong seat? Seems like it'll be a fuck up like everything else at some point.
On title alone, I'm all for it. Take their benefits and kids away as well.
i support this, if you are abusive, violent or dangerous to others on a plane then there should be no second chances
Yeah when have restrictions without oversight ever gone wrong?
Has anyone considered passenger compartment ejector seats?
I'm all for this for people who travel on planes barefoot.
