A fast, loot-driven dungeon crawler built for quick runs, dangerous floors, and constant progression.

DungeonDex is a compact browser-based dungeon crawler where every run pushes you deeper into the dark. Battle through brutal floors, collect stronger gear, sell what you do not need, upgrade your build, and decide how far you are willing to descend before extracting with your progress.

Built with a mobile-first layout, DungeonDex is designed to feel clean, readable, and easy to play on iPhone while still working smoothly on desktop. Runs are fast, gear upgrades matter, and every floor is another chance to get stronger — or lose momentum.

Features

  • Fast dungeon runs built for quick sessions
  • Loot and gear progression with stronger weapons, armor, rarity, and item decisions
  • Mobile-friendly browser play designed for readable UI and smooth tapping
  • Gold, selling, and merchant choices that make every run feel more meaningful
  • Deep Stair Charter progression that helps reward deeper successful runs
  • Dungeon floors that get harsher the farther you descend
  • Ongoing updates focused on polish, balance, stability, and new progression systems

Feels like it needs a tutorial or game manual of some kind since the actions and their effects are not obvious. Like, why ever defend? What is an ashfire burst vs. an attack? Attacks seem to do less damage, so why ever do one?

I might try it again sometime, but the initial experience was confusing, tbh.

Still, I can see it has some potential. If I knew what was going on, I might have kept playing.

Worth leaving a comment on the game's page with the feedback, this game seems small enough that they would probably appreciate it
