If I could cast a spell to rid the world of chewing gum, I'd do it twice.
Oh man, probably not since the 90s.
I found out some friends of mine who moved here from abroad had never had Dubble Bubble, so I bought some and we all had a piece when they came over for Christmas.
Mid to late 90s. I was never big into chewing gum, and took a stick out of politeness when someone offered.
note even sure. most gum I have had in the last few decades have been sugarless and used as a bit of an emergency teeth cleaner / breath freshner.
Never managed to blow bubbles with it so gave up as a child
About two or three months ago when I was teaching my son how to blow blubbles 🙂
I chew gum when I work out. So last Friday.
Last week, trying to quit smoking and it helps.
Have you tried the niccorette gum? I was able to quit in month using the gum. In the end I stopped chewing the gum without even thinking about it. I didn't switch to vaping either.
Imo it's gotta be the brand name gum, I tried the Amazon off brand and it had zero flavor. With the niccorette gum there was a slight burning sensation when first biting into it, and it had the standard artificial sweetener taste that most gum has (aspartame). Not the same with the Amazon's.
Yeah, but may try again cause when I first got some it was an offbrand type.
phew. Probably ten or twenty years ago. I'm chewing on sugar cane right now though, does that count ?
actual bubble gum? probably a couple halloweens ago.
'regular' gum? yesterday.
I tried the Bazooka and Dubble Bubble gum I liked as a kid not so long ago and it was so sweet. I preferred the stuff like Watermelon Bubblicious :9 The cherry cola one was good too. Then they had some double flavors. They really went nuts with gum in the 80s.
Loved bazooka gum. Wrapped in a comic strip.
My favorite was probably Big Chew.
There was a stick of gum in the ~~Sour Patch~~ Garbage Pail Kids cards if I remember right. It was only chewable for 60 seconds before it lost flavor and got hard. Kind of ruined the gum thing for me.
Yess.. All the gum that came with those cards was trash, like sweetened cardboard lol.
Now that you mention it, I've never wanted anything more in my life 🤤
Yesterday. Kiddo got some gum and offered it to me. Can't say no to that.
When it still had real sugar in it.
