DIYbio or Do-It-Yourself Biology, is the undertaking of the life sciences outside of formal institutional settings. This subreddit is a place to share resources and discuss all things relating to DIYbio.

Rules:

• No Bio-Hacking Nonsense: No Injectable Peptides, No Homemade Therapeutics, No Longevity Grifts, etc. Exceptions can be made on a case by case basis, but don't ask about them or post vague news articles about them.

• You can post things from institutional settings. DIY is more about putting things together with limited resources than actual institutional associations.
