Is this the "I need a strongman leader because I'm insecure about my masculinity"?

Real men don't give a fuck whether some internet jackass thinks they are manly enough.

Maybe I am crazy, but I think that "being a real man" requires you to be equally "manly" regardless of the environment you are in. If being in the presence of a LGBTQ+ person threatens your "manliness", then you are no man. If respecting and defending a woman's rights over her own body, and equal rights threatens your masculinity, then you are no man. If the only way you can be a man is by living in government enforced constant bubble of misogyny, racism and phobias (trans, homo, xeno, etc), then you are no man. You are a scared little boy refusing to come out of your safe space hidey-hole.

Sorry Charlie, I disagree. Here's my version.

If you outsource your critical thinking to someone else and follow their instructions simply because they question your masculinity, then you're not a man.

Any time someone like Charlie Kirk starts talking about manliness I interpret it as him saying this is what he wants in a man
