I'll probably get downvoted for having some hope (cope?) in thinking that Trump really does represent an extreme and not a new normal. There's no way future DOJ will enforce this asinine "forever" stipulation. In a sane world it would jump them to the top of the list as soon as new leadership is installed, and I do actually think we are going to head back to at least a slightly more sane world
