Yeah but you can sell this argument better to the rubes if you phrase it using examples they can see for themselves.
About a third to a half of the fast food workers near me are black Americans.
This is also disproportionately high for our area.
Damn dude, why are you doing these things??
By “doing these things” do you mean “not working in fast food”?
Because it sucks and I was afforded opportunities to not have to be stuck there.
That doesn’t mean I have to look down on the people who are working a shitty job here because it’s still better than whatever they left.
These are smart, courageous people doing work us pampered fatsos don’t want to do.
They're so old and out of touch they don't even realize the burgers aren't flipped anymore, they're cooked on both sides at once.
Yeah in fast food restaurants. If you go to an actual sit down restaurant the patties are grilled on a flat top or an open flame grill.
It misses the part where the person went to college anyway and still wound up "flipping burgers" because their field isn't hiring. Except now they have to pay off several tens of thousands of dollars of debt with that measly salary.

Last one should read “You need a minimum 5 years experience and AI will screen out your resume without a perfect match” and “why is it so hard for us to find qualified candidates?”
I just point out that Ghost jobs are a thing and apparently job application process is good way to get your data collected for free
