I think for most Americans Biden's economy was not great, though at least it was headed in the right direction. And in fairness to him he was handed a bungled COVID economy, so it was a lot to recover from.
By no means am I a Biden stan, but the inflation reduction act was a massive step in the right direction coming off of the previous presidency. One which was immediately reversed after 2024.
I've always suspected democrats looked bad because they were mostly trying to put out the dumpster fire of an economy that republicans left behind. That of course never worked out to well, so (stupid) people were disappointed and voted for a bigger dumpster fire.
It's crazy when people get mad they can't have everything at once and then actively vote against themselves instead. Seen it a million times.
I'm on the "old" side of getting older, and not once in my life have I seen a Republican Administration, Congress, or Judiciary act in the interest of the American people.

Republicans stories may be a fairy tales, but they result in real dollars for their primary benefactors, the super wealthy. That's what the gerrymandering mess is all about: Making sure the ultra rich continue their systematic exploitations.
Never.
