Shit, that hits hard, this is so me. I've never realised this can also be part of ADHD, I've always thought this was just because I've been bullied a lot in my youth and the resulting self-esteem issues. Guess I might be double blessed. π

Of course there's a name for this. There's a name for all the other stuff that I didn't realize were symptoms until an article about it came across my radar. Why would this be any different?
Ha! Thatβs exactly how I felt reading the article. Spent the better part of 40 years wondering why I felt different and was struggling with things like friendships and relationships that seemed so natural to others. Finally got a late diagnosis and felt relieved that I could now start to find the tools to manage it, but no, seems this thing has LAYERS, like an ogre!

I just commented in a previous post that weed helps me escape these feelings. I honestly did not think that anyone else experienced this particular prominent aspect of my neurodivergence. Can we like for a support group or something? Every time I find out I am not alone in something, life gets slightly easier.
