I'm sorry if I'm stating the obvious. What's good about using this meme template is that it's after he's been bitten by the spider. it's when he's without the glasses that Peter Parker is seeing clearly. And with the glasses on everything is blurry to him.
Reading the meme, I think the author knew this. Which I appreciate.
