So are they just trying to pretend the blockade doesn't count? Are they formally admitting that the blockade has failed?
I mean what is "blockade" anyway? And what is "congressional authority" after all? And what is "war"? It's all just words. trump is perpetual liar -- he could not care less what words mean or what contradictions they make when he says them. It's just air passing through his lips, nothing more.
If Trump manages to keep the war going without congressional approval, it would be far from the first bullshit he's gotten away with because "fuck you I'm president."
And as long as the republican led congress doesn’t fight it, he is effectively right. Complete breakdown of checks and balances.
