Be funny if Israel were the only ones performing, and the only people cheering in the audience were zionist IDF terrorists because all the decent people wanted nothing to do with it all.

I don't understand why the countries who object to genocide don't organise their own counter song festival. Let's see which one gets bigger.

Lets say eurovision continues with like 5 countries participating; they're willing to burn down the house before giving into popular demand. Is there an alternative?

People like it because it's trash, not despite it's trash. That's how entertainment works.

Its crazy that eurovision is so popular. Looks like pure trash to me.

I don't get it either, but reality is people do watch it, and its probably more productive to direct them towards better alternatives than tell them stop liking thing.

Don't make your personality not liking some popular thing.

Not liking some popular thing that supports genocide.

is rather a good personality trait.

Moroccan oil keeps paying for it as main sponsor. EBU doesn't give a fuck because it's all about money for them.

Imagining IDLES as a Eurovision contestant...

To be fair, they're maybe too established now but they're quite a good example of modern British music these days. Beyond the Dua Lipas and Charlie XCXs of the UK, we've got a lot of great rock bands.
