Flatbed scanners are slow. You can digitize a lot faster with a setup like this - snap a picture, flip the page, snap another picture and so on. That takes maybe 1 or 2 seconds per picture and there is no flatbed scanner that can reach those speeds. Changing the notepads itself and switching to a solution with an auto feed scanner might be the better solution, however, but that depends on how you are storing your notes.
