Several European countries paused or restricted arms exports with Israel during its military action in Gaza.

The offensive was triggered by the Hamas-led attack on Israel on 7 October 2023, which killed about 1,200 people, while 251 others were taken to Gaza as hostages.

More than 72,330 people were then killed by Israeli military action Gaza - including 757 since the ceasefire began on 10 October 2025 - according to the territory's Hamas-run health ministry.

fuck the bbc - I know I shouldn't be surprised anymore but the audacity to say "well acktually Isntreal was provoked to kill tens of thousands of civilians in Gaza (or that's what the evil Khamas health ministry wants you to believe)" in an article about it's invasion of Lebanon is insane

why not mention how they've killed hundreds of people in Lebanon - during a supposed ceasefire with Iran - so even if all those people were Hezbollah (spoilers they ain't) it still wouldn't be justified

at least with the likes of Fox or GBNews you know they're wackos from the start - the fact most British people are swayed to believe anything the bbc says is a crime against critical thought

I heard Lamborghini artillery and Balenciaga urban camos weren't very good anyway.

No, but Leonardo is a pretty big defence company. For example, the deck gun on the Isearli corvettes is a Leonardo gun. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sa%27ar_6-class_corvette (Oto Melara is part of Leonardo).

Benelli and Beretta are somewhat well-known brands also.

Italy renewed the defence agreement and THEN suspended automatic renewal.

Misleading headline.

Italy has reportedly stopped supporting Israel militarily, but still remains committed to peace and continuing ongoing traditions of the two cultures by arguing over it loudly during dinner.

We look forward to further debate in which rapid hand movements and speaking loudest stress the most important points.

I believe they were referring to the lady in the article looking like someone else.
