They can live beside the ocean, leave the fires behind, head out past the breakers and watch Tesla stock die

[–] deacon@lemmy.world 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Damn you to hell for this.

[–] CIA_chatbot@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

Already living here hehe

two charred Cybertrucks were seen parked next to each other. It’s unclear what caused the vehicles to catch fire.

Two cybertrucks, right next to each other, both catching fire?

It's pretty clear what caused the fire: peer pressure.

Insurance fraud was the cause. Now they can afford a new car

Fine, take my fucking upvote!

The fediverse is small enough that i remember upvoting a few of your comments recently.

Haha, yeah there's a few that I remember when I come across the username, but I usually don't think to check, though I really should more often. It is nice that it's a smaller community, it helps to tell if someone is just joking around, making a serious hot take or something, or just a bot.

Maybe spontaneous combustion is back on the menu?

[–] JailElonMusk@sopuli.xyz 23 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Oh no, who could've possibly seen this coming?

It's not like the entire design, production, and development was rushed by Ketamine Karen so that he could meme the world with the ugliest, dumbest, and most useless and dangerous truck the world has ever seen.

Two trucks at exactly the same time? Someone lit them up.

Allegedly this happened when both owners started docking with each other outside their vehicles.

[–] Mycatiskai@lemmy.ca 13 points 2 months ago

They should rename them Tesla firetrucks.

[–] harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 2 months ago

The beacons are lit! Santa Monica calls for aid!

[–] cerebralhawks@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 2 months ago

Nice to see some good news in these trying times

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 11 points 2 months ago

Yay! I love hearing about this. I hope they all fucking burn.

[–] Doomsider@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago

Elon was just testing his lock your doors, disable windows, and start a short circuit in your battery hack.

On a side note, free Cyber Trucks for all of Congress!

Two cybertrucks on fire

round the outside

round the outside

round the outside.

I am shocked that we don't see relentless mockery of Tesla's catching fire on comedy shows and movies. They mocked the pinto for being fire prone.

[–] KiwiTB@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

Finally some good news

[–] greygore@lemmy.world 6 points 2 months ago

And nothing of value was lost.

[–] Harvey656@lemmy.world 5 points 2 months ago

Love to see it.

There's a tesla charging station around the corner from me. When I ride my bike home I make a point to scream at the people charging that Nazi's aren't welcome in the neighborhood.

[–] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Most people bought their Teslas before all the Nazi stuff. Also, no you don't.

The circle of life

[–] altkey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 2 months ago

The tension between these two was something else entirely 🙄

The "Me and who?" meme writes itself, especially if you have a low self-esteem to be compared to a cybertruck - a car wholly unprepared to, like, exist.
