Kinda crazy it was only founded in 1325.
Also, it reminds me how much cities can outlast civilizations all over the world.
Those buildings look very European. Pretty sure they didn't look like that.
European mapmaking of the time tended to portray detail-work with... well, European architectural conventions. The important bit is the layout.
