There's one thing that would certainly stop me from cycling in Australia, and it's the helmet laws. We don't have those here and I'm used to decide if I wear a helmet or not. Sometimes I like to live dangerously and have the wind in my hair at 20 km/h.
If my country had laws like this I would not cycle.
