There are hacky solutions but most are illegal and the side effects aren't worth it.
- Bring up the debug menu (wink with each eye alternately 20 times and then sneeze)
- Settings --> Life --> Intensity submenu
- Select "reactiveness" and set to 0.35 for smoother transitions.
- (optional) Select "empathy" and dial it down to maybe 0.5 if you keep getting those pesky notifications.
- (optional) Select "schadenfreude" and dial it up to 2 or 3 if you need that bitter edge to build your smile
You can either pay to win a cocain habbit or go the long road and develope cronic depression. Since this is a hardcore server and both options are high risk low reward i advise you to communicate your emotions and deal with it. Even though the community is mostly toxic, there are some kind players and professionals who can be very helpful.

Not to autisticslly over analyse a joke, but if the legit misread it as emojis why would they not give all the instructions in one post? Why would they just give "go to settings" other than to set up their own punchline?
