16 years ago, these two were born.

Two months ago, they had both gone.

To celebrate their lives, the joy and love they brought me, I want to share this collection of what they were like when they were together.

Thanks for sharing 💕

Those two were so sweet, I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope they’re snuggling together right now wherever their spirits may be.

Thank you. That thought brought a few tears. Much appreciated.

I'm sorry for your loss. Whenever I lose kitties I try to remember that they don't experience existential dread or fear of mortality...they just live in the moment and don't worry about the stuff our excessively complex brains do. I can tell you gave them a good life and they were happy. That's about as good as anyone can expect!

They were certainly happy, entitled and loved. I shall miss them forever.

Adorable! I too once had a pair of siblings that would sleep together, groom each other, etc. They were the two sweetest cats I've ever had. One was a flamepoint, the other orange. The flamepoint would sleep with me every night in the crook of my arm, and follow me into the bathroom in the morning so that he could climb into my underwear. The orange was the neighborhood badass and ruled the cat hierarchy when he was in his prime. Both passed many years ago. Pour one out for the homies!

Thanks for sharing their story, love to their memory. I love the character of our little murder-friends!

I am sorry for your loss, they look like wonderful boys.

Obligatory Rainbow Bridge if you haven’t heard it:

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
