I know the real thing comes out in just a month, but the only-partially-edited version is available at the patreon $5 tier and, going into what I suspected would be a three-day-abed bout of illness I caved and donated just to get access to it early.
Minimally spoilered summary
I will be honest, it did not start strong, but it got there quick and stayed there. It's not the best in the series but it's in the top half. It covers the tenth floor, which is about three-quarters of the book, and most of the eleventh, but, uh, also small sections of the fifteenth and eighteenth and of course locations outside the Dungeon. But the majority of the action happens on the eleventh, and the book ends before Carl or Princess Donut leave the floor. And to answer the question we're all most worried about: Yes, Jamal survives, but he broke his legs again. Quite a lot of people suffer broken legs, actually, but that's mostly unrelated.
I'm down to discuss either the book itself or the way book seven left off.
