I don't go out of my way to block them but I am often ignoring them or not even in the room while I grab something to eat or use the bathroom or whatever. That being said I sorta like catching them as its very disturbing to see a big uptick in military recruitment ones or see crazy online casino ones that literally say you will be rich if you play their game. I think a lot of folks would realize why things are so fucked up if they saw what ads are being blasted out.
Sometimes I also want to be the dumbest of all dumbasses on the outside of the planet's surface... but usually, fortunately it gets better after a little while, 2-4 milliseconds or so.

Ah yes, wasting one's time while not contributing to the click rate anyway. And if you clicked through and read the site, that wouldn't contribute to the conversion rate either.
I just had a sinking feeling that posting this kicks off a Rocko's Basilisk situation that ends with not watching ads being legally defined as piracy.
