But still has something against taking the knee during the anthem?

Every single one of those footballers should've taken a knee on Sunday. Most shameful part of the whole damn thing (aside from the Pats offense, that is).
Everybody talking about how Billy should've said something. He said enough with his set list, and really this wasn't a political setting at all, it was honoring some of footballs greatest players. Stealing from their spotlight.
Now, if they called him up to do the American Anthem, sure. I'd love to see that.
For that matter, I'd say that the NFL had a hell of a message just calling up Green Day and Bad Bunny. I think that's pretty big, at least for the NFL.
There were two openly gay performers at the Superbowl (Brandi Carlile, and Ricky Martin), and two openly bisexual (Bill, and Gaga). I don't think that's ever happened.
(Edited last paragraph to reflect corrections in LGBT performers)
Billy Joe is bisexual. Still agree with your point though.
Sorry...I don't pay very close attention to the sexuality of strangers. These three have been been, overall, big LGBT activists though.
The end of your comment was quite the ride for me:
There were two openly gay performers at the Superbowl
They're probably talking about Brandi Carlile
(Billy Joe, and Ricky Martin),
Oh, I didn't know Billy...
and one openly bisexual
Oh now they're talking abou...
(Gaga).
Hmm
Oh I totally forgot about Brandi Carlile. Tbh I'm rather unfamiliar with her and her work, let alone her sexuality.
And someone corrected me on Billy actually being bisexual. I updated my comment to reflect the corrections.
Some drug traffickers can be condemned and pardoned. Some presumed drug traffickers in other countries must be assassinated in the name of national security.
More crypto bribes I take it.
We all know how much he hates drug trafficking
Only when he can't profit, though. He's been quite clear on that issue...
If you're suspected of drug trafficking and not a donor, it's a drone strike. If you're convicted of drug trafficking and a donor or potential donor, it's a free pass.
He's pardoning Billy Cannon, who, in addition to being dead, was pretty upfront that he had made a mistake and the crime was a low point in his life. Just a really bizarre piece of sportswashing.
Sounds like when the Roman Emperors gave slaves their freedom at the Colosseum.
So 5 NFL players paid the bribes.
I mean, he is one of them… as the Epstein Files revealed. I have no surprise on this.
Though, I am European. I hope you wake up there, Otherwise you will collapse - great news.
