It's easier than alternatives. I already have it installed. The games I play are supported. My hardware generally works.

I don't want to move all of my gog games. Only thing I use windows for. May dual boot in the future. Will never use 11.

Switching what?

Your question is backward - you're assuming people are choosing to not switch, as if switching is a default position to take - when default is working with what's in front of you, what you're familiar with (for decades).
