I just ate Korean BBQ SPAM with an egg and cheese on white bread. It was good considering the effort that went in. My heart is pounding like I just ran a marathon though. I think if I ate another I might die.
That's probably because a single 2 oz serving (1/6th of a can) has a third of the salt you need per day. A can is 2x the recommended daily salt intake.
I ate half the can in that sandwich and nothing else yesterday. Is it bad to get your full % daily value of salt in the span of less than 5 minutes?
I'm no doctor, but it's probably not ideal.
For some reason spam grosses me out but I'm ok with Vienna sausages. Pretty sure they're the same thing just shaped differently.
Vienna sausage texture is different, more palatable, and they have 10000% less salt.
I'm enough of a man to eat straight out of the Can at any time of the day but please don't make me eat spam.

A Hawaiian fast food place opened near me last year and teriyaki spam musubi is one of the most addicting things I've ever tried. I'd eat there all the time if they didn't charge nearly four bucks per tiny sushi roll.
Damn that's spendy. Check and see if you have an L&L Hawaiian BBQ nearby. They are amazing and their Mac salad, musubi and Loco moko are top tier
Sadly the nearest L&L location looks to be multiple states away. I'd love a quality Hawaiian place. The place I was talking about is alright, but their entrées aren't anywhere near as good as their sides.
