The driver is 92 years old, Lantz told the Associated Press. She was cooperating with investigators and undergoing a medical evaluation, said officials at the scene. The condition of the bicyclist wasn’t immediately known.

Christ, 92 is just too old to be driving. Unclear if Westwood is her home neighborhood, but the transit there is pretty good due to UCLA proximity, too, so if she is from that area it’s not like there was no other option.
