Wisconsin law says candidates who are on the ballot are able to withdraw only upon death.

Trump:

wait what? You aren't allowed to keep your own name off ballots? That seems weird.

edit: I take it back, he should have made this decision much sooner.

Keep your name off? Absolutely.

Take it off after the ballots are created and voting has started is a different story

The election is a week away, millions of people have already voted, and he’s abandoned all pretense that he’s trying to do anything at all other than get Trump elected.

He is still fighting to put his name on the ballot in states where it looks like him being there will help Trump. He’s only trying to remove his name, much too late, in states where it looks like him being an option will hurt Trump.

US elections are supposed to be corrupt, but not that corrupt. Even for here that is over the line.

Yeah I agree, RFKjr is an unabashed Trump weasel, and the more I learn about this the happier I am that he's failing.

What states is RFK trying to get on the ballot?

[–] PhilipTheBucket@ponder.cat 1 points 1 year ago

As of a month ago, he was still suing in New York trying to get on the ballot, and a couple months ago he was still fighting to be on in Nevada.

Voting is already underway in both states, so it never seemed likely the Supreme Court would grant Kennedy's requests.

At some point the ballots are locked in and printed.

And at this point, people have already voted for him.

True, I wasn't considering how late in the game it is. And TBH he's only doing it (or attempting to) to help Bonespurs, and only in certain states. Rethinking this it seems like a form of election interference.
