Imagine having no money and that makes you eligible for school.

You have to be wealthy to go to university these days

Working stiff has enough saved up to lose his job and go back to college while still paying the bills. Truly an ancient premise.

The Goofy movies and tv show were something else. Why didn't they make more in that slightly grounded universe?

[–] tyler@programming.dev 22 points 3 days ago

Goofy has always been cooler than Mickey.

Society doesn't value single dads. As simple as that.

Why there’s no single moms in Duckburg?

[–] njm1314@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

Yeah they would never make a animated movie celebrating one would they? Much less two of them. Damn Society.

I would agree that society in America doesn't value single parents regardless of gender as much as they should. I think they are often stigmatized, especially women.

Should men not have rights?

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

All lives should matter too, but it turns out that's not what counter movements are ever actually about

[–] minorkeys@lemmy.world -4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

So what's the women's rights movement about?

[–] DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You know damn well, incel.

[–] minorkeys@lemmy.world -3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Well it was a counter movement, so by your own accusations....

It must be tough trying to be a pedant with your limitations.

Meanwhile, Disney hosts Ripley's Believe It Or Not, where I stood beside an actual shrunken head when I was 5 years old.

Fuck Disney.

But I do still have the family photo album, I might post photos someday, just dunno where best to post..?
