Don't think of this just as simply a long range strike, think about this from the perspective of two arms factories producing flying bombs and deploying them at the frontline as fast as they can in attempt to destroy one another (kind of like a MOBA without the player characters).
From a logistical perspective this is a decisive demonstration of superior logistical and tactical initiative by Ukraine, Ukraine must have done everything Russia was going to do but faster and better in order to create the opportunity for this type of attack.
What I am saying is there are two things here that demonstrate military power, the attack that was successful in tactical execution and the preceding seizure of initiative to force a window of opportunity open to make this kind of attack possible.
There is hardly any other way in a simplified model of two drone factories producing flying bombs and sending them in mass waves to the frontline for this kind of attack to be possible, a strike like this is an operation that must be a product of momentum unless extreme chance came into play repeatedly.
