The south is clearly irredeemable at this point.

Andrew Johnson is definitely in the top 5 of worst presidents ever. He more or less single-handedly kneecapped any punitive action - via official government or culturally - against the confederacy, which was deeply, sorely needed. Instead, all that slaver shit was left to fester for over a century and a half.

At this point? Sherman knew the South was irredeemable and Lincoln should have let him raze the whole place.

Echoing OP but they will insist slavery is required and God ordained just for Capitalism to survive, been this way officially since 1776

You are correct and I should know because I live in the South.

Same here. I plan to move as soon as I can afford to. It’s weird being one of a small group of liberals living in a place where the citizens see me as “evil” for caring about human rights.

I can't move. I have a little white trash palace on a half acre and even if I sold it it I would not be able to buy another place somewhere I am welcome. Thankfully I live 45 mins form Asheville. I will have to make do with what I have. I am only 45k in my retirement so moving is not much of an option to me. I am a small travel trailer so I can leave if I need to.

If it is mobile, you might check with the Bureau of Land Management. You might be able to get a cheap homestead, and move your trailer there. Solar is cheap and plentiful in southern California.

Moving a 1985 mobile home 3000 miles in not an option. It would fall apart just moving it off the blocks. The best thing for me to do is just keep to myself. I barely talk to anyone now. I have a lesbian couple as neighbors and they are good people. Like I said Asheville is like 45 mins away and I have friends there. If shit get too bad I can hook up my camper and go but I would be abandoning my neighbors. There are so many variables. I think I need more ammo.

Which Bible — Catholic? Protestant? Mormon? Torah? Which part of the Bible — old or New Testament? Does Leviticus count? If so, then no more cotton polyester blends for you! Old Testament? No more bacon! Maybe abortion is legal again if your spouse cheats on you.(Numbers 5:11-31)

Do you think they actually read ~~their fairytales~~?

Trump "made" a Trump bible right? That's the one I'd bet on them going with, so whichever pre-existing bible that ripped off.

“A school district may not discriminate against or penalize a student on the basis of expressing a religious, political, or ideological viewpoint or for engaging in religious, political, or ideological expression in the same time, place, and manner and to the same extent that other similarly situated students may engage in speech or express views at a public school,” the Senate proposal reads.

Muslims cheering.

Satanists excited.

Scientology, well, doing whatever they normally do.
