Playmobil Taquero:

Not all heroes wear capes, Some wear an apron and keep the whole city moving.

Wife got me this little taquero for Xmas and I love it.

(I know it’s not really a taquero, I don’t care)

What's a Taquero?
Google gives somewhat varied but largely unhelpful results for me...

A taquero is a guy who runs a taco stand. Like how Americans have hot dog stands

Yes! And in this specific case these are Tacos al pastor which come from Mexico City, where Lebanese immigrants adapted shawarma techniques to local tastes in the early 20th century. They replaced lamb with pork and added Mexican seasonings like achiote and pineapple, creating one of the most iconic street foods in Mexico.

TIL: There have apparently been Mexican styled fast-food Döners in Mexico City long before the first German ones appeared in Berlin 50 years ago or so.

Mind: Blown!
