Honestly if I knew I'm gonna be dead named all day I'm treating myself morning, afternoon and night and probably the day before and definitely the day after.

Well there's deadnaming on purpose or not trying at all, then there's accidental deadnaming. Still can hurt. But please try to be understanding of us old farts with non-plastic brains who screw it up repeatedly. Some of us are really trying even though I'm sure it might not seem that way; we really can be that bad at reflexively putting the wrong name or gender in speech. Of course when corrected, we should immediately apologize and correct. I hope you can forgive us.
My mom is getting used to it, she misgendered her coworker a lot as that was new to her and I corrected her every time. I dont know that guy but I'm doing my best for him 🫡
If you tell me who deadnamed you I can give them a disappointed look and tell them to fix their spirit.
