Tradeoffs. In the 60s, the human population of Earth was about 1/3 of today's. Then when you wanted to learn something the people around you didn't know, you had to walk to the (often shitty little) library, where you were usually disappointed. Or had to read a 300-page book to find out.

Avoid the sites where most of the people hang out.

I miss the 90s/early 00s internet. Everyone had their own little corner of the web. Not like today, where it's tiktok this, snapchat that. No one has their own little corner. Everything is commercialised, and advertising is absolute dog shit and thrown down your throat. :(
