Watched the first 10 minutes of it, but I should probably sleep now. Seems very enlightening so far. Thanks for sharing.

Only thing is about the king's army being apolitical - I guess it means they don't endorse particularly policies/parties? Kinda like if the King would say climate change is bad, it's political but it doesn't really compromise his position as apolitical as it doesn't indicate who he'd like to be his prime minister, for example. I believe the assisted dying issue wasn't whipped.

You don't have to wonder, the spell it out on their website:

We are not a political organization. We don’t stand for, represent, or align ourselves with any political party.

Still, I think campaigning against specific policy would meet the average person's definition of political organisation.

Maybe when all the (major) parties agreed that climate change was real you could argue this, but now both Reform and the Tories are both doing climate change denial I don't think you can. Besides, the idea that the monarch is apolitical when it uses its privileged position within the British state to lobby for the monarch's personal interest against things like workers' rights and, ironically enough, climate laws is plainly absurd.

All the major Christian parties agree that Assisted Dying/Euthanasia is wrong and immoral, and the group already identifies as Christian, so I don't think it's any more political than it is with their Christian identity.

You say that like Christian identity isn't quite political. Even so, the way this organisation operates is distinctively political.

Christianity does have a political nature. I think an important aspect about it from my understanding is non-partisanship. The Bible demonstrates we cannot fully rely on earthly institutions, nor identify with them. I think the Christian doctrine on the sanctity of human life is probably one of the most important things really in terms of politics. Even if we see someone behave immorally, they can always repent. Taking a life cannot be undone.

You could be predestined to after. If God wanted you to die at that time, you will regardless
