Reminder that this guy (Ken Paxton) has been investigated multiple times by the FBI for abusing his office and illegal use of power.

Republicans are just pure evil.

“The leaders behind EPIC City have engaged in a radical plot to destroy hundreds of acres of beautiful Texas land and line their own pockets,”

was that word necessary?
Reading the rest of article and list of attempt on this project I think this is Muslim prosecution.

"Radical" has become a dog whistle for the right meaning "something that benefits our rivals".

If Texas was a compass, El Paso would be practically right on the W in West, calling it North Texas is weird. But it's republicans, so yeah, it's probably a dog whistle.

True, but the article references East Plano (north of Dallas), not El Paso. I'm in El Paso right now and can see Mexico out the window. New Mexico is slightly blocked from view but if I lean to the left a little... :-)

Not-fun fact: East Plano abuts Allen, Tx where the Trump-inspired El Paso shooter came from to kill the kind and welcoming people of this town.

Republicans don't actually like faith-based initiatives. They only like faith-based corruption and only if the "faith" labels itself as Christian.

Other religions obviously have no place in the world of Republicans.
