Gawd damn. I just hired a kid finishing off their degree to help out at work every now and then if I have a backlog. Offered them the equivalent of $36/hr USD to do basic Excel work.

Fuck. That hits hard over here. Slightly more than I make in a senior management position.

And I had to fight hard to get our new hires $20/hr
