The three-body problem states that when two objects are pulling on each other, their movements are predictable. However, when you up it to three objects, enough chaos is introduced that it is nearly impossible to predict, and life has trillions of trillions of interactions. The only thing you can do is optimize for a statistically likely outcome. In other words, don't overthink it and just go with what your gut tells you.
