Gotta be real here: I'm too old for this sort of "my whyfoo!" shit. But when I was young, if there was one Evangelion character I'd say "if she was a real person I'd hit on her", it would be Misato. And it's kind of funny, I watched the anime some ~10 years after release; by then I was, like, 18? Way more in the age range of ~~Screecher and Wall Starer~~ Asuka and Rei than in Misato's.
If it makes you feel better, she would've been into you too.
I 'member one episode where she makes a move towards Shinji (I think it was ep23? Not sure). Plus that scene in the EoE movie.
So... yeah, she'd eat an 18yo alive.
