I know Thanksgiving is specific to the United States (although other countries have similar holidays), but this is a good point in the competition to take stock: you have a nearly completed novel. Only about 5K to go, if you are on target.
Personally, I am very thankful for this month. I am thankful for meeting all of you who have been participating in this competition. (I'm also thankful for those who have been lurking. ๐)
I don't know how much I've mentioned this, but for quite some time I was unable to partake in this annual ritual because of family issues. And, over the last five years, I haven't been able to find the motivation. But, this group has given me just enough of a push for me to actually do this again. Get me back into my love of writing.
