I count seven people in that body cam still (including the person whose camera is taking the footage). If culture is to change they all needed to be charged and sentenced.

As a black man. I'm shocked that 4 people were even convicted. Our nation has zero idea on how to be civilized. Everything we do is built on blood and pain. Evey story about our nations is essential about us committing genicide but with rose colored glasses.

The fact that several of the guards received lower sentences for beating Robert Brooks to death, than Robert had received for an assault charge, still sends a message that police get off lightly.

Everyone involved should have received life in prison with no parole for abuse of their positions of power.

police get off lightly

And this is for a documented instance and there are no shortage of those. Imagine how many go without any justice whatsoever.

Hey at least they got sentenced so they can’t go to ICE yet. Probably when they get paroled.

I guess they will be treated as kings by fellow guards in whatever jail they go
