This is the same MP who voted against the 10 Minute Rule Bill to ban marriages between first cousins and against decrimilisation of abortion. I fear he was never going to be at home in a socialist party.

A political party comprised of a handful of previously independent MPs seemingly voted in along Muslim religious lines, as well as two left wing MPs vying for leadership position, was never going to be stable.
But think of the party conference. A whole hall filled with members in equal standing to research other. Democratically chosen. All singing the same tune.
