Republicans are significantly more likely than Democrats to believe they will be taken up in the biblical Rapture, according to a new YouGov poll.

The September 23 poll of 4,041 U.S. adults found that 63 percent of Republicans said they would be more likely to be taken up, compared with 40 percent of Democrats and 36 percent of independents.

Overall, 46 percent of Americans said they believed they would ascend, while 18 percent thought they would be left behind.

I used to believe that one day I would be whisked away to some fantasy land where everything goes my way and life has meaning.

I was 14, I've grown the fuck up since then

Wild considering that they do literally everything verbatim their messiah told them not to do. They also clearly worship a false prophet and wear a mark on their forehead verbatim again what their book says to not do.

I think the more serious issues are the things Jesus said about being kind and taking care of everyone

Well they're definitely not doing those ones.

This is their "everything for me, nothing for you" attitude comes in. They believe they'll get raptured and leave the heathens to rot in their cesspool. We all live on the same planet and use the same resources but Christians add that little * and add in the footnotes that God created the Earth for them.
