You get used to it with time. I had to work under the rain, in soaked clothes, crawled holes full of rotten wheat, cleaned sinks full of semi-sentient biomass. Just brace yourself and do it. The only thing I couldn't get used to are corpses. Especially in multiple pieces.

I’ve cleaned up my share of crime scenes and it’s never bothered me much just meat like everything else.

Same here. The thought of touching a dead person makes me nauseous. I can do blood and poop with minor disgust. But I tap out at a limp limb.
Care to try working at a sawmill? I find working with wood is refreshing mentally after all kinds of shit. The smell is also amazing.
