Both Alcaraz and the new owner both said they have to subsidize the store with part time jobs.
The rodents and dead animals in the freezer... it's harder than you imagine running a small retail business by yourself.
Edit: And doubly so if you're also working a part time job. Running a retail store is a 60 hour a week job.
