It is how British people defend their food.
Jellied eels can do one but every other crap tier is very wrong.
Does the British have other food items that are named after slurs? All I know that in Hungary, a lot of chocolate variants of things had "negro-" attached to it for some weird reason. Not as bad if it was "n*gg*r-", but still extremely weird.
British people always claiming their food isn't that bad but If it literally doesn't get better than fish and chips, your food must be awful.
