Does the British have other food items that are named after slurs? All I know that in Hungary, a lot of chocolate variants of things had "negro-" attached to it for some weird reason. Not as bad if it was "n*gg*r-", but still extremely weird.

Except they were also often advertised with blackface caricatures, although to my memory none of them were KKK caricature levels of bad, just stereotypical African tribe stuff.
You didn't explain that in your first post though, you were just ignorant that negro means black in different languages
The etymology came before the racism.
