I'd buy it immediately. Honestly, just give me a hardware update for the note 3 or nexus 5/6.
Probably didn’t help that the base model 17 has been widely reviewed as one of the best-value flagships on the market.
The Air is a step down in battery life, camera capability, and thermals, but costs more. I’m honestly not sure who it’s supposed to be for.
The air is supposed to be a sleek status symbol. It is form over function. It has premium materials and looks stunning.
People wo want stuff done and need more features than the base models should go with the pro.
The Air literally allowed them to make the pro model more chunky, more rugged and less flashy.

No one wants a thin phone with a small battery and weak frame that can be bent easily. Duh.
