actually pluto not being a planet was more of a political decision. the whole definition drawf-planet is absolutely messy. to see how messed up the definition is all you have to do is find a similar object in another starsystem: over there pluto would still be defined as normal planet. only if an object orbits sun we devide them into planets and dwarf-planets. this can hardly be called scientific. but people are lazy and calling pluto a planet would aknowledge ceris, eris, haumea, makemake and up to 200 other objects as planets, so we took the wrong but easier definition.

however people aren't planets and should be left alone and not pressured into being defined as someone they don't identify as.
