I'm for anything that stops him from blending into the carpet.

That's actually been fixed for a little bit now! The imp cannot spawn on carpet tiles, the game will actively check his spawn tile and turn it into regular floor.
Oh, that's cool! Thanks!
I remember spending a bit of time scanning for him occasionally, but he's never been too bad. I have had trouble seeing staircases in "fog of war" areas when the light is low and I'm using a screen in a well-lit area, though.
tries to think if there's anything else that's hard to distinguish
Teleportation Trap and Chilling Trap can look pretty similar, as can Warping Trap and Frost Trap.
Ditto for Burning Trap and Alarm Trap, and Blazing Trap and Guardian Trap.
rock fall traps with money on it will be blocked out by the bottom wall if it's near one, only way to tell is to examine it.
I feel they look quite apart. Shape is similar but the tones are quite distinct.
That looks awesome!
And…uh…I’ll never miss finding him again now haha
Looking forward to seeing the vault.
You mentioned before that our equipment won't come with us. Is the green magical barrier over the pit the thing that will stop our gear from coming into the vault?
Also, speaking of that, are you ready to share how gear progression will work while inside the vault? I'm very curious about it
I'll likely be sharing more gameplay specifics as the quest takes shape after the release of v3.3, but the general idea is that the environment will have different enemy behaviors, where retreating is a lot more feasible, and the player will be expected to avoid combat with some or all enemies as they work their way back to having some gear.
I guess this can give heroes such as Huntress a bit of an edge with talents such as Heightened Senses. Possibly also cripple some heroes that rely on their class artifacts more, such as Cleric.
Certain heroes are a lot more dependent on equipment levels and others on their class item, I am aware of that and am considering it in balancing.
Oh I see, I see
Thanks for the answer, I look forward to it
