Things I love about beavers:

1. He might be pausing to listen to the sounds the tree is making to know if it's ready to drop yet.

2. They don't just use the trees for construction. They also eat the soft, inner bark.

3. Like a dad searching for the source of running water in the house, they are triggered by the sound of the river and will find the source of the sound and block it. If you play the sound of running water with a speaker near a beaver, the beaver will build a dam on it.

4. Beaver teeth are rust-colored because their enamel is strengthened with iron.

Every beaver has a thick boston construction worker accent and no one can convince me otherwise.

Why do beavers look so much like a cartoon drawing of beavers?

This beaver looks like it told a really bad joke and is awkwardly hoping someone will laugh.
